Firewall & Network
If your organization uses a restrictive firewall, web filter, or VPN, your IT team may need to allow a domain, some IP ranges, and a couple of ports so Viewabo's real-time video sessions can connect.
Do I need this page?
Most users don't. On standard home or office networks, Viewabo works without any configuration. Use this page only if you're on a corporate or otherwise locked-down network where outbound traffic is blocked by default and your IT or network team needs to allow Viewabo. Share this page with whoever manages your firewall.
Allowed Domains
Allow access to the Viewabo application and its services on the following domain.
Required Ports
Allow outbound traffic on the following ports to the domains and IP ranges listed on this page.
IP Ranges by Region
Sessions connect through the region nearest each participant. Because the people you connect with may be located in different places, we recommend allowing all of the ranges below. If you're certain every participant will always be in a single region, you can limit the whitelist to that region plus the domain and ports above.
North America
Europe
Asia (excluding Mainland China)
Japan
India
Mainland China is not supported
Viewabo does not currently support sessions for participants located in Mainland China. The ranges above do not include Mainland China endpoints, and connectivity from inside Mainland China cannot be guaranteed.
Good to know
For the most reliable video quality, allow UDP 443 in addition to TCP. If only TCP 443 is permitted, sessions will still connect but may be more sensitive to network conditions.
Both participants need outbound access on these ports. Make sure any guest or restricted Wi-Fi network used during a session allows this traffic as well.
Still having trouble connecting?
If sessions still won't connect after your network is configured, see Troubleshooting or contact our support team.
